From a "pagan," who was raised Mormon and became a Christian. This is my blog sharing glimpses of God’s work in my life while I was growing up in Boulder, Colorado, a member from birth of the L.D.S. Church; and going forward from there to be re-formed by God into a non- or inter- denominational Christ follower. What I have experienced and learned about God, human nature, and the bridge between us.

How and why does God—who is eternal and indescribably glorious, all wise, all seeing, all powerful, constrained only by His own perfect character and nature; who both permeates and exists apart from the material realm and all He has created; who is the origin of love, goodness, and faithfulness—communicate with, and draw into relationship, without force, humans—who are limited, dependent, sinful (evil and unjust), rebellious, and naked before Him?

The sunflower’s face is turned towards the sun all day. What or who is the “light” you or I follow? How does this "light" affect our lives, especially our relationships, and in turn our communities? What did Jesus mean when He said, “See to it that the light within you is not darkness” (Luke 11:35)? What if Jesus is, as He claimed, the true light of the world and the only way to God for humankind (John 8:12; 14:6)?
