DAYS OF CELEBRATION & AWE SERIES

Celebrating Jesus Christ’s past, present, and coming fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy and all God’s promises. A series of creative non-fiction, deep-dive readings that delve into Scripture and history, from the conceivable perspectives of mostly real and supposed, but also a few fictional characters, who lived in ancient times. The books can be used for review or studies of the Bible at any time of the year, but they are specially geared for daily readings during the following celebrations: 

  • Advent to Epiphany, 37 days

  • Lent—Ash Wednesday to Easter/Resurrection Day, encompassing Passover, 40 days

  • Feast of First Fruits/Easter/Resurrection Day to Pentecost, 50 days   

  • The Day of Trumpets to the Last Great Day of the Feast of Tabernacles, 22 days

Daily reading Advent (Dec. 1) to Epiphany (Jan. 6)

or a thirty-seven-day or -week study in Old Testament prophecy and biblical (mainly New Testament) times.

ADVENTure into the Old Testament promises of Christ’s coming with a shepherd in ancient Bethlehem. Join him as he shares recent happenings in Judea,  recounts Old Testament history and prophecies, observes signs in the heavens, and describes how these all tie together. Travel back in time to experience the glad anticipation of the coming reign of God’s Anointed One.

Second book in the Days of Celebration and Awe Series

Daily reading for Lent—Ash Wednesday to Easter/Resurrection Day, encompassing Passover, or as a forty-day or -week study in Old Testament prophecy and biblical (mainly New Testament) times.


Travel back in time to experience the wonder and awe of the Lord’s plans as they actually unfolded in the first coming of Jesus, the Anointed One, to earth. Look back with a shepherd in ancient Bethlehem at the unanticipated Old Testament pictures and prophecies of Christ’s death and resurrection. Join him as he also shares how Jesus' ministry greatly changed lives and expectations; and as he observes how signs in the heavens possibly reflect Jesus’ mission on earth.

Third book in the Days of Celebration and Awe Series

Daily reading from First Fruits/Easter/Resurrection Day to Pentecost or as a fifty-day or -week study in Old Testament prophecy and biblical (mainly New Testament) times.


Join a shepherd and his daughter, both of ancient Bethlehem in Judea, during the count-down to Pentecost as they recount Old Testament history and prophecies, along with more recent happenings among the believers. Travel back in time to experience the presence of the Lord with His people through the work of Jesus, God’s Anointed One. Learn from them how some of the signs in the heavens seem to portray the very things they’ve been seeing.

Daily reading from the Day of Trumpets to the Last Great Day of the Feast of Tabernacles or as a twenty-two-day or -week study in Old Testament prophecy and biblical times.


Once more, join a shepherd and his daughter, both of ancient Bethlehem in Judea, as they share Old Testament symbolism and prophecies, along with the words of Jesus concerning His second coming and a final day of judgment. Observe with them how some of the signs in the heavens might picture what has been foretold. Let an old shepherd, near the end of his days, with the help of his daughter, gift you with final words about the Lord’s plans through Jesus, God’s Anointed One.
